Ana Strika, Fundus of momentary requisites: on hold hold on, rewind, 2019, installation, variable dimensions, various materials, photo: Zoe Tempes
THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2023, 7 P.M.
LOCATION: Kulturhaus Obere Stube (Hall Fortuna), Oberstadt 7, 8260 Stein am Rhein
Branches, pieces of cardboard, scraps of paper, fabrics and plaster are just a few examples of the materials that artist Ana Strika makes precise use of in her installative “spatial drawings.” She has been artist in residence at the Chretzeturm since January. At the Kulturhaus, she will be giving a taste of her material experiments and talking about her relationship to the objects. Join us as guests when Ana Strika gives us an insight into her artistic practice and the multifaceted staging process of her objects. With aperitif.
